Butterflies, Spreads, and Earnings OH MY!!
Written by Anna

Read more... Hey Hobsters........ how  I love to trade on earnings!!!  I have done a video to explain a butterfly that we did last week in the chat room. I chose the direction (bearish) and then chose the strikes that I felt Google would end @ OPX on Friday afternoon. I chose the 470/460/450 put butterfly and put on the trade for average of 90$ per contract.  Allot of folks took the trade in the trader's lounge and followed my lead. Well on Friday Google closed @ 459.60!!!! Wow Read more... couldn't get much better than that,  that trade got the full 800% on our investment! IN ONE DAY!!!  How can you not love that!! take 90$ and get back 880$ in one day! I am still loving that trade so much. I did it last earnings on Google too.  So I did a video on a butterfly and broken wing butterfly that might help you learn.

All you have to do is risk $100 a month (after January rates will be going up) and your returns will make you leap in the air. I love to see how happy folks are when they follow my trade and get smoking hot results!

IBM is coming up tomorrow after the bell and I will be searching for a trade on it. I used IBM as a sample butterfly when I did the video, but will not do one, why because there is too much time (theta) left till OPX so my short legs if right will make $ too and I don't want that!

Apple is coming up on Tuesday so I went over how and why I chose the trade I took . I hope you enjoy them and will do more videos on my forte that is I live, breathe, smoke options :-)

Let me leave you with this............lots of smart folks can do TA and call market direction, but how many can put on a trade that boasts great risk to return consistently and know when to exit that trade!

Have a great week and let's rock

Peace Read more...Love,
Anna

Are We "There Yet?
Written by Anna

Friday July 16th Update

Hey everyone

This is opx and should be a volatile day so trade carefully please ;-) The last day of OPX normally is bearish but it will whip around to confuse you.

Now we went short via A put Butterfly on Google yesterday and really looking for it to pin @ the body of the butterfly so we make maximum  return on our investment.  So we shall see by the end of today, so should be an interesting and exciting day.

Most companies so far have beat expectations, then sold right off pretty quickly which tells me that we are close to an interim top.

We tagged my call of the EUR 130!! wow that was a huge bounce eh from whence it came. I think that it's pretty much topped out for now. I have a short term target of around 127 in the next week or so. Now if you haven't noticed the Dollar has pretty much decoupled from equities for now. We shall see if this continues or not.

I will do some videos this weekend so good luck today to all !

Peace Love Anna

Hey Hobstas,

Huh Huh are we there yet, well the answer is almost kids.  Now this is going to be a little corrective move before a final push up to around 1116 /ES. We could pull back to 1085 possibly even 1075. but then to shake everyone up the make one more push.

Let's face it the technicals say over bought on almost every indicator but the weekly, so hence my thinking of that last push up. I told you guys yesterday that we would most likely gap open today and the futures are backing up that thinking at least so far.

I think they can push this to the 110.68 level or 78.6% Fib RL before they really send this puppy down, or depending on the jobless claims they might turn soon.

Either way we are close  trade light as the volume is very light still

Love peace
