Gosh it's so good to have this extra day to rest up and get things done. I have done a couple of videos and have outlined that I do believe we are due for a nice move down. I was a hair early on Friday but of course as I always tell my kiddies in the lounge we do NOT DO STRAIGHT OPTIONS with less than 30 days out unless it's a

I haven't checked china's gdp number but I can already tell you it must have met or beat expectations. So hence the rally this morning, but as I have said in my last post This week is a no volume, chop high frequency trading week!! I stressed that Sunday and myself am very light in holding any positions.

Gold has broken out, but still I believe is due for a smacker of

Well as I write this post, I have to tell you that today is an important day, I feel that we either really hit it hard (down) or we reverse and rally like there's no tomorrow. I am rather indifferent as I am leaning into mostly cash. I have on some shorts and some longs but a slight lean short. Yesterday after I posted a h&s on

Hi hobstas,

Looks like we are nearing an important change in the markets! I have said since early june that I felt that the charts were gearing up for a big move down late August early Sept. (after Labor Day) We we are very close and longer term (month of Sept) am gathering short set ups for the Wave 3 down. The next couple of day we should have some upward bullish activity to finish off

Bears were very excited about the pullback from the double-top
yesterday. I've been considering this carefully this morning, and the
evidence for an imminent pullback doesn't look overwhelming to me as
yet. The bear case for the next few months is very compelling, is
supported by numerous patterns, and it has economic logic behind it, but
it still isn't necessarily going to happen.

One of the most compelling patterns for it is the possible bearish
gartley pattern building on SPX.
